Aquatic Ganatus

Ganatus are a creation of both ~Atwista and I made for our roleplay. She made the first one, and I helped with the designs and stuff for the rest of them. Then we both made descriptions and stuff.

Basically they are descendants of mutated humans from after the apocalypse. They are still human-like, and are pretty much like primitive humans, living in little societies. Their vocal chords are too different for them to be able to speak, but they communicate to each other through a series of burbling noises. Since ganatus are highly adaptable creatures, there are different types of ganatus living in different areas.

AQUATIC GANATUS</b>

Living around many different bodies of water, aquatic ganatus mainly feed on fish, other small aquatic creatures, and seaweed. These are the smallest kind of ganatu, their height at adulthood ranging from 4 to 5 feet. They are generally carefree and playful. Being mammals, they sleep in little alcoves near whatever body of water they live near, and spend most of their days in the water. They are born with little tails to help them swim, but the tails shrink as they go into adolescence, and they lose them completely by young adulthood. Their claws are webbed, their skins are a silvery blue with darker blue spots, and their hair is a similar color to their spots. If they stay away from water for too long, they dry out and can possibly die.
